Chairman of Anesthesiology Department
“Having grown up in the Greater South Bay and attending College in Orange County,I am a true California native. Ever since I was a young child I knew I wanted to become a physician whereby I would be afforded the opportunity to care for those in need of help or who are otherwise suffering. My idea of pursuing this goal originally began when a family physician friend allowed me to observe him care for patients. It was at that point I knew my calling.
I ultimately chose anesthesiology because the practice incorporates my favorite medical subjects of physiology, pharmacology, and mechanics and allows me to apply them on a daily basis. I also enjoy the opportunity to quickly build rapport with those patients in an acute setting and them trusting me to care for them during a critical time. After working with Complete Women Care surgeons at an outside hospital for nearly three years, I left the hospital and joined the Complete Care Surgical Center because I saw only the highest standard of patient care. Excellence is paramount to all Complete Women Care physicians as it is to myself.
My outside interests include spending time with my lovely son, surfing, cooking (not a baker), boating, fishing, and most anything involving the outdoors. I enjoy learning and believe everyday has an opportunity to acquire some new piece of information whether from reading or even learning from an event. My patients have taught me a lot and they contribute to my goal of life long learning.”
