EMERGENCY GYNECOLOGY CARE
Gynecological emergencies are often difficult to detect and treat. When left untreated, these types of emergencies can have severe, even fatal consequences.
This is why it is important to be seen by an OB/GYN specialist instead of an ER generalist when experiencing:
- Irregular/heavy bleeding
- Abdominal/pelvic swelling
- Abnormal cramping
- Any other unusual pelvic/abdominal symptoms
Our team of all-female OB/GYN specialists, nurse practitioners, physician’s assistants, midwives and nurses will make sure that you receive the best care possible.
EARLY PREGNANCY EMERGENCY CARE
Early pregnancy emergencies are emergencies that occur during the first twelve weeks of pregnancy. During this time, there are many situations that can endanger the life of not only the baby but the mother as well. These situations can progress to emergencies that can have fatal consequences, so it is critical to see an OB/GYN specialist who understands the signs of an early pregnancy emergency right away. When experiencing irregular/heavy bleeding, pain, abdominal/pelvic swelling, nausea, vomiting, abnormal cramping, and any other unusual pelvic/abdominal symptoms, go to the CWC Emergent Care Center right away.
EMERGENCY BREAST CARE
Breast pain and lumps are common. Most of these problems are benign (non-cancerous) but still need to be evaluated by a health care provider. If you are experiencing any of the following symptoms, you should be seen by one of our specialists:
- Breast pain
- Tenderness and swelling
- Body aches
- Breast engorgement
- Fever and chills
- Rigor or shaking
- Nausea or vomiting that is preventing you from taking antibiotics as prescribed
- Pus draining from the breast
- Red streaks extending toward your arm or chest
- Confusion related to breast pain
COMPARE THE GYN EMERGENT CARE CENTER TO OTHER FACILITIES
THE SAFEST PLACE TO BE DURING AN OB/GYN EMERGENCY IS A PLACE WHERE OB/GYN SPECIALISTS ARE SUPPORTED BY THE LATEST TECHNOLOGY
We, at Complete Women Care, recognized that women were not receiving the immediate and specialized care for their gynecological problems that they needed.
When they went to emergency rooms, they had long wait times, very high costs, and saw a generic ER physician. When they booked an appointment at an OB-GYN practice, they discovered the office was not open nights and weekends and did not have the proper equipment and testing technology on-site to fully address their problems.
The system delayed patient care and increased patient risk and cost. We knew something had to be done. We knew that women needed health care that was high-quality, more affordable and accessible. So, we created a brand new health-care model where all-female OB/GYN specialists can see patients right away and give them immediate results – all in one place.
The GYN Emergent Care Center is the first of its kind in California. It houses the latest technology necessary to provide onsite labs, imaging, diagnostics, and emergency surgery, if needed, including highly-specialized single-incision 3D procedures. Unlike other facilities that treat immediate symptoms only, the GYN Emergent Care Center stabilizes the condition, solves the problem and provides a plan of care. The wait-time in our center is less than 30 minutes and it is open 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.
