REQUIREMENTS

We are looking for a highly motivated GYN specialist that will join our growing team that continuously strives to provide the best evidence based care for women. The ideal candidate should have interest in advanced pelvic procedures, should have or will complete a Minimally Invasive Gynecological Surgery Fellowship (MIS) and is available to start now or in 2019. We expect the candidate to have strong clinical skills and to be patient centered as well as team oriented.

We are an 80% GYN and 20% OB facility. This position requires OB privileges and taking OB call at the hospital (1 in 7 now, will be less starting this summer) as well as seeing patients with early pregnancy (1-12 weeks) complications that walk-in into our GYN Emergent Care Center (5% of emergency cases are early pregnancy).

Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

  • Develops and implements initiatives that achieve strategic goals
  • Identifies and measures key performance indicators to promote output, performance management, and organizational growth
  • Benchmarks the ongoing accounts receivables, and works with staff to improve performance when key indicators show benchmarks are not being attained
  • Creates and modifies policies and procedures to maintain compliance, efficiency, and internal control requirements

General Summary of Duties: Responsible for providing professional nursing care for OB and GYN patients in a traditional office setting and in the emergent care center. Functions as primary liaison between patients, staff, and physicians.

Summary of Job Setting: Traditional OB/GYN office setting with physician back-up and LVN/MA assistance.

Responsibilities/Tasks:

  • Coordinates patient care
  • Co-manages front and back office staff
  • Ensures following of all medical protocols
  • Participates in multidisciplinary teams to improve patient care processes and outcomes.

Medical Responsibilities/Tasks:

  • Obtains patient consent for care and ensures patient confidentiality. Obtains and documents health history, information on chief complaint, vital signs, and health risk factors and assesses disease condition. Provides patient care based on practice guidelines, standards of care, and federal/state laws and regulations.
  • Executes prescribed treatments and medical interventions, administers prescribed medications, and monitors and documents treatment progress and patient response.

  • Prepares patients for GYN surgeries (Pre-op consult).

Busy specialty practice is looking for detail-oriented FT LVN to work in partnership with our existing team to support our physicians. Primary responsibilities include rooming patients, data entry, previewing charts, ordering labs, calling for results, filling Rxs, and ensuring that we meet every patient’s needs.

  • Review medical records and correctly assign codes to diagnoses and procedures
